With his team trailing 79-84 at the three quarter break, Herbert showed his wealth of experience with two successful baskets from behind the arc to start the fourth term. Herbert produced another two successful three pointers, and had the Supercats back in contention. Herbert finished the quarter with 17 of the Supercats 36pts for the term helping Geelong remain undefeated at The Arena and moved into second position on the South Men Ladder with a 3-1 record.

Other notable performances were;
* Lester Strong celebrated Easter early with 19pts@54%, 16rebs, 2stls and 4blks in the Raiders rewarding 106-85 victory last Thursday against Kilsyth.
* Nunawading point guard Shane McDonald ended the Frankston Blues undefeated streak with 25pts@50%, 2rebs and 2ass. McDonald was the overwhelming MVP for the game and his efforts helped Nunawading record a surprising 77-74 road victory at Frankston.
* Albury/Wodonga Bandits Andrew Rice had 31pts@50, 14rebs and 4blks, but could not get his team over the line, losing to Geelong 102-115.
* Cameron Rigby recorded a season best 38pts@65%, 5rebs and 2blks on Saturday night in the Braves vs Miners Clash, but unfortunately his efforts were not enough for Bendigo as they fell to arch rivals Ballarat 103-110.
* With 31pts@56%, 6rebs and 4ass on Easter Monday from Thunder guard Ben Armstrong, NW Tasmania has recorded a 2-0 clean sweep against Hobart this season earning state bragging rights for 2008.
