Leonard started his career with the NBL Geelong Supercats playing 6 NBL games before joining the Supercats SEABL team in 1997. Leonard has played in every season since except 2004 when he took a break to fulfill work commitments.
Leonard is the first player to achieve the 300 game milestone and is the club’s longest serving captain. 
Head coach, Mark Leader is full of praise for his skipper.  “Jarrod is a great player and has been very consistent over many years.  He is a terrific leader for our club and contributed greatly to our recent success” Leader said.
