August 21: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 87 (C. Lee 26, N. Herbert 19, D. George 11) defeated by Frankston Blues 95 (D. Gruber 22, A. Harms 17, M. Chapman 15) at Frankston Basketball Stadium.
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have been narrowly defeated by the Frankston Blues in Saturday night’s Crazy John’s SEABL South Conference Championship game. The Supercats can hold their heads high though having put up a gallant performance only allowing a single digit margin to their opponents for the whole of the match.

The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have again been well represented in the statistical awards for the 2009 regular season. For the second year in a row, Nathan Herbert topped the conference for three point shooting with an amazing 54 made baskets at 47.4% ahead of nearest rival Dallas Jeffree from Mount Gambier with 43.5%. Geelong's Jamie Medved was third (42.1%) and Clifton Lee ninth (39.2%) in the category.

August 14: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 107 (I. Muhammad 30, N. Owusu 15, J. Reardon 13, N. Herbert 13) defeated Hobart Chargers 78 (M. Nash 26, M. Banovic 12, R. Inches 11) at Aurora Stadium, Hobart.
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have won the Preliminary final producing a stunning demolition of the Hobart Chargers in Hobart on Friday night. The win erased the disappointment of losing last year’s home preliminary final against the Chargers and earns the Supercats the right to take on Frankston in next weekend’s Crazy John’s SEABL South Conference Grand Final at Frankston.

![]() The St Laurence Geelong Supercats are proud to announce that Nathan Herbert will play his 200th game for the club on Friday night in the SEABL preliminary final against the Hobart Chargers in Hobart.
Herbert joins elite company within the Supercats becoming only the second player, behind Jarrod Leonard, to achieve the milestone.

August 8: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 101 (C. Lee 25, I. Muhammad 18, B. Cox 14) defeated Sandringham Sabres 90 (S. Conn 23, D. Dillon 19, N. Crosswell 18) at the Arena.
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats, in their last home game for season 2009, have defeated a gallant Sandringham Sabres 101 to 90 and now progress through to the Crazy John’s SEABL South Conference preliminary final next weekend in Hobart.
