The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have recorded their best weekend so far of the 2010 Crazy John’s SEABL season as Nathan Herbert’s MVP performance in his welcome return to the club helped the team to a 31 point thumping of the well credentialed Sandringham Sabres on Friday night before a gutsy win from behind against the Ballarat Miners on Saturday night.

March 27: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 98 (J. Bullock 33, B. Cox 21, I. Muhammad 12, D. George 12) defeated Mount Gambier Pioneers 85 (A. Rice 29, A. Tipton 21, D. Jeffree 12) at the Arena
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have shrugged off the sudden resignation of 2009 MVP Jason Reardon during the week and turned on a solid team performance to record their first win at home for the season against the Mount Gambier Pioneers.

 The St Laurence Geelong Supercats announced today that long serving player Jason Reardon who has played 165 games with the club, averaging 15.6 points and 7.5 rebounds has played his last game.
Despite a strong start to the season Jason felt he no longer had the passion or desire for the time commitment involved in playing at the elite level, and playing on without that total commitment would not be fair on his teammates or the coaching staff.

March 20: Hobart Chargers 92 (M. Banovic 30, C. Long 23, A. Stewart 12, B. Polk 12) defeated St Laurence Geelong Supercats 82 (I. Muhammad 25, J. Reardon 20, J. Bullock 17) at the Arena
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have lost to the Bendigo Braves in Bendigo on Friday night before returning to the Arena for their first home game of the season and capitulating to the Hobart Chargers.
