2010 Superball
The 2010 Hollywood Superball is here!
This year.....the St Laurence Geelong Supercats are going to HOLLYWOOD!
Come and experience all the glitz and glamour of a red carpet Hollywood event
right here in Geelong.
On Saturday June 19th the St Laurence Geelong Supercats will be trading basketball
jerseys for suits and tuxes and the Arena will be transformed into a spectacle
fit for a movie star as you prepare to dance the night away at the biggest
event of the year!

Yes he did it! That pesky feline Supercat hit a half court shot over his head. Three quarter time at the Sandringham game our Supercats hit the backboard a couple of times before the third shot went in. Watch it now on youtube

April 23: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 91 (J. Bullock 24, I. Muhammad 22, N. Herbert 14) defeated Mount Gambier Pioneers 74 (D. Jeffree 19, A. Tipton 15, A. Rice 14) at the Mount Gambier Ice House
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats have won their third game in seven days to extend their winning streak to 6 after a solid win in Mount Gambier on Friday night.

St Laurence Geelong Supercats Import Isma'il Muhammad received Game MVP honours in both games for the second consecutive week, earning himself another Player of the Week award. Muhammad is the first player since 2007 to receive consecutive Player of the Week accolades. Isma'il helped Geelong record another 2-0 weekend averaging 21 points, 15 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3 blocks. Muhammad’s performances over the past two weeks have elevated him into MVP favouritism and many NBL coaches should be looking at his tremendous play as a possibility for the upcoming NBL season. Muhammad was outstanding on Saturday night against NW Tasmania with 25pts@62%, 11rebs, 4ass, 2stls and 1blk in only 30mins of court time.

April 17: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 111 (I. Muhammad 25, J. Medved 21, B. Cox 20) defeated North West Tasmania Thunder 89 (S. Gary 29, M. Martin 28, J. Dowdell 20) at the Arena
April 18: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 105 (J. Bullock 28, B. Cox 27, N. Herbert 25) defeated Nunawading Spectres 90 (S. McDonald 26, M. Hall 19, M. Thorp 18) in Overtime at the Nunawading Basketball Stadium.
“This playing group has the resolve to win in any situation” were the prophetic words of St. Laurence Geelong Supercats head coach Jamie O’Loughlin after the teams inspirational victory in overtime against Nunawading on Sunday afternoon to extend their winning streak to five games. This followed the club’s victory over North West Tasmania in an exciting and sometimes spiteful contest at the Arena on Saturday night.
