July 3: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 115 (N. Herbert 39, I. Muhammad 26, J. Bullock 14) defeated Albury/Wodonga Bandits 100 (T. Gabbidon 32, R. Bright 22, N. Payne 17, D. Briglia 17) at Albury Basketball Stadium
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats will give Head Coach Jamie O’Loughlin a heart attack if they keep having on point wins at the Arena. For the second week in a row the Supercats have defeated their opponents in a one point thriller. This time it was the Brisbane Spartans who fought well all night in an extremely close contest only to go down to the Supercats at the buzzer. On Saturday, a depleted Supercats line up travelled up to Albury and had a more comfortable win over the Bandits. |

St Laurence Geelong Supercats fans have been treated to their second 1 point match in a row at The Arena; thankfully the home side were on the winning side this time round defeating Knox Raiders 100 to 99. |

June 12: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 109 (N. Herbert 36, I. Muhammad 28, J. Bullock 16) defeated Brisbane Spartans 91 (T. Demos 22, D. Williamson 20, A. Cannan 20) at Carina Stadium Brisbane.
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats could have been forgiven for dropping their bundle following last week’s heart breaking loss to Ballarat, however, this classy side is far better than that proving it on Saturday night as they made the league’s longest journey and then roundly defeated the Brisbane Spartans on their home pine at Carina. |
