The Crazy John's SEABL South conference finals race became a little clearer on Friday night as the Hobart Chargers went down at home to the Ballarat Miners. Hobart's loss means that Nunawading and Geelong must finish first and second on the ladder with only tomorrow night's results to decide the order. Likewise Hobart and Sandringham will finish third and fourth with Hobart's only chance of stealing third now residing on cellar dwellers Frankston beating Sandringham tomorrow night. To put it simply, if Geelong win and Nunawading loose tomorrow, the Supercats will pinch top spot. Any other combination and we will be off to Nunawading next weekend. |
