May 17: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 109 (D. George 26, N. Herbert 25, S. Myers 23) defeated Kilsyth Cobras 107 (G. Leonard 25, J. Werner 24, A. Jackson 19) at the Kilsyth Sports Stadium.

The St Laurence Geelong Supercats stole victory out of the hands of the Kilsyth Cobras on Saturday night when Shawn Myers landed a jump shot with less than 2 seconds on the clock to put Geelong ahead for the first time in the match and secure an unlikely victory 109 to 107.

May 9: St Laurence Geelong Supercats 128 (S. Myers 32, B. Bridgewater 22, N. Herbert 17) defeated Mount Gambier Pioneers 102 (D. Jeffree 27, J. Cochran 24, J. Sedlock 15) at the Geelong Arena.

A solid 26 point victory over the Mount Gambier Pioneers has increased the St Laurence Geelong Supercats’ unbeaten run at home at the Arena to 8 games this season.  The win places the Supercats two games clear of their nearest rivals, however sitting in second place on the SEABL South Conference ladder overall due to Frankston having played less games.

The SEABL announced today that the St Laurence Geelong Supercats will host the SEABL Men Championship game this year at The Arena on Saturday 16th August.

The Men’s Championship game is a new initiative agreed to by the SEABL Clubs at last year’s Annual League Meeting.  This game will see the East Conference Champion versus South Conference Champion to determine the overall Men’s Champion.
