NEXT BASKETBALL CAMP

Tuesday 27th September 2011 – Thursday 29th September 2011

The Geelong Arena

The Alcoa Basketball Academy is an outstanding way to have fun in the school holidays whilst improving your basketball skills. The recent signing of the MoU between the Geelong Supercats and Basketball Geelong which will see the two parties once again re-unite, has resulted in a stronger and clearer pathway of development for junior basketball players across the Geelong region.

The school holiday program has been run jointly by these two organizations over the past twelve months with some great feedback. Accredited coaches as well as popular Supercats players incorporate skills sessions with fun games and activities, including tours of the Arena facilities and seeing where the Supercats players do their own training.

The change in the camp structure has been well received by both participants and parents.

Andrea Vos, whose child Casey attended the camp in July, says, “The camp was great, Casey had so much fun learning new skills and being taught by the Supercats players that she watches in the games. She’s looking forward to the next camp.”

The camps run for three days from 9am til 5pm, your child can attend all three days or can choose from one or two day options. Early bird registrations for the three day option will receive a FREE CAMP T-SHIRT. (Must register by Tuesday 13th September).

All campers will also receive a free children’s ticket voucher (with the purchase of an adult ticket) to the NBL pre-season game being held at the Geelong Arena between the Melbourne Tigers and the Adelaide 36ers on Thursday 29th September.
