The final team was chosen by a panel chaired by Supercats Board member Craig Herbert and included:
Barry Barnes- former coach
Wes Smith- former sponsor and current board member
Ron Lovell- score bench attendant for the past 25 years
Cam Ward- Geelong Advertiser
Terry Kealey- General Manager and former coach
The selection criteria was:
A maximum of 5 American born players can be selected
The player should be judges for the time they spent playing in Geelong not with any other team or association
Each selector was asked to choose 10 players and ranked them from No 1 through to no 10 giving 10 points to the highest ranked player and the 1 point for the 10th ranked player
