The St Laurence Geelong Supercats are proud to once again bring the excitement of the Alcoa Basketball Academy these school holidays.
The Alcoa Basketball Academy is an outstanding way to have fun in the school holidays whilst improving your basketball skills.
We bring together the best coaches, including Supercats stars Nathan Herbert, Isma'il Muhammad and Clifton Lee who can teach you all the skills in a fun, action packed environment.
The Alcoa Basketball Academy has delivered fun and coaching to young basketball players for many years. We provide excellent basketball programs which cater for all ages and abilities.
The Camp will be held on the following dates:
Ocean Grove: Tuesday 30th June and Wednesday 1st July. Cost $80 (single days $45 ea)
Lara: Thursday July 2 (2 sessions, $20 per session)
The Geelong Arena, Baxter Road Entrance: Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th of July. Cost $95 (single days $40 ea)
CHEERLEADING CAMP:
The St Laurence Geelong Supercats Cheerleaders will also host a one day camp at the Arena on Thursday July 9th for a cost of $40

 The Geelong Supercats slim hopes of a top-two finish in the SEABL South Conference have suffered a potentially fatal blow with Saturday night’s 102-84 loss to Nunawading.
The loss has seen the Supercats sit with a 13-7 record ahead of the final seven games of the season, while second placed Hobart also has 13 wins, but has two games in hand, as well as holding head-to-head over Geelong.

June 20: Nunawading Spectres 102 (T. Greer 30, N. Kennedy 25, M. Thorp 11) defeated St Laurence Geelong Supercats 84 (J. Reardon 24, J. Medved 18, C. Lee 12) at the Arena.
On paper a team with 4 wins for the season should not beat a team with 13 wins for the season when they meet that team on their home court but basketball doesn’t always go by the book and Nunawading knew that as they comprehensively defeated an ailing Supercats team at the Arena on Saturday night.

It was almost the perfect weekend for the Geelong Supercats. Mark Leader’s men kept up their end of the bargain with wins over Dandenong on Saturday night at The Arena 127-110. That was followed by yesterday’s nail-biter against Knox in suburban Melbourne yesterday 113-111, thanks to a buzzer beater from star import Isma’il Muhammad.
